To sustain your ranking and popularity we will talk about the latest methods and tactics to gain more back links… oh let me correct myself it’s not just more links it’s more quality links that means links from relevant high authority and popular websites. Please keep in mind I’ll always refer to quality links whenever I talk about gain more links.

Before we start about tactics I just want to share some survey story from SEJ (One of leading Search engine news blog), that will help you to understand that link building still matters.  As per SEJ’s survey 72% of SEO agencies or individuals believe that Link building is significant ranking factor for SEO. A very small chunk about 4% of SEOs think link building in not much important.  So as per SEOs experience there is almost negligible difference regarding importance of link building among professional SEOs.  SEJ also claims that link building is important but again the tag of quality is integral part of link building now.

Hell Ya, back-links are still important. But building backlinks is a big challenging.

Here I am reliving top secrete of link building techniques. My list below includes 15 different approaches that I would recommend to start link building and always keep in mind relevance and quality matters the most.

    Top 15 link-building methods:

    1. Wiki page
    2. Info-graphics
    3. Trustworthy directories
    4. Research report/case study or document sharing
    5. Videos
    6. Webinars recordings
    7. Podcasts
    8. Interviews
    9. Press releases/Newspapers/ Magazines
    10. Social networking websites
    11. Guest posting to relevant blogs.
    12. Discussion sites/ Forums
    13. Blog commenting
    14. Local business listings
    15. Business directories

With the time there have been so many algorithmic updates from Google. The key to do it in right way is to worry about the quality of where you publish it. Simply scope of publishing your link has been reduced.
